Baguette Sandwiches with Mushrooms, Cheese and Green Onions

The French baguette is like no other bread for sandwiches. In this recipe for sandwiches, a cheese filling is prepared, then laid out on a baguette and baked under the grill.
Ingredients
Mozzarella cheese (shredded on a grater) – 120 g
Champignon mushrooms, canned (cut into thin slices) – 120 g
Mayonnaise – 1/3 cup
Parmesan cheese (shredded on a grater) – 2 tbsp
Green onions (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp
French baguette – 1 pc. (about 400 g)
Directions
Turn on the grill to preheat to medium heat. In a bowl, combine Mozzarella cheese, canned mushrooms, mayonnaise, Parmesan, and green onions.
Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. Apply the cheese mixture to the slices.
Put the baguette on a wire rack with the slices up and place in the oven under the grill, fry until golden brown, for about 10-15 minutes.
Cut the fried baguette into portions and serve immediately.
