Baguette with Cheese, Garlic and Herbs

Crispy garlic bread with cheese and herbs is a great addition to your first course.

Ingredients

  • Baguette or loaf (small) – 1 pc.
  • Softened butter – 40 g
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Mozzarella cheese – 50 g
  • Parmesan cheese – 30 g
  • Fresh parsley – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Mix softened butter with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic passed through a press.
  2. Grate both types of cheese.
  3. Cut the bread in half lengthwise. Place on 2 pieces of foil. Spread butter on the bread.
  4. Wrap each half of the loaf in foil so that the top does not come into contact with the bread. Put the baguette in the oven, heated to 200 degrees, for 10 minutes.
  5. Then remove the baking sheet with bread from the oven, unfold the foil and sprinkle the bread with cheese – first with mozzarella, then with parmesan. Return the baking sheet to the oven for another 5-7 minutes to melt the cheese.
  6. Sprinkle finely chopped parsley on baked garlic and cheese bread.
