Ingredients

  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 150 g spelled flour and 50 spelled meal
  • 4 small apples (approx. 100 g each)
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), including the juice
  • 30 g flaked almonds
  • 1 packet sauce powder (vanilla sauce for boiling for /2 l milk)
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 0.5 liter ½ milk

Instructions

  1. Knead the butter with 100 g sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, spelled flour and spelled grist to make crumble.
  2. Wash the apples, rub dry and cut out the cores. Drizzle the lemon juice over the apples to prevent them from turning brown. Grease a baking dish, put the apples in it and spread the crumble on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C (fan oven 150 ° C) for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle the almonds on top 10 minutes before the end of the baking time.
  3. In the meantime, stir the sauce powder with 3 tablespoons of sugar and 6 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil, stir in the mixed sauce powder, boil again for 1 minute and let the sauce cool down a little.
  4. Take the baked apple crumble out of the oven and serve dusted with powdered sugar. Serve with the vanilla sauce.
