Instructions

  1. Cook the spiral noodles in salted water until they are al dente. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Wash the leek and cut into rings.
  2. Fry the minced meat in a large saucepan with a little olive oil until crumbly. Add the leek and fry a little. Add the chunky tomatoes and simmer until the leek is cooked through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. In a baking dish greased with olive oil, mix the pasta with the sauce, cover with cheese and bake in the oven at 200 ° C for about 10 minutes.
  4. For the salad, wash and peel half the cucumber and cut into medium-sized pieces. Wash the tomatoes and also cut them into medium-sized pieces and place in a bowl. Drain and add the corn. Drain the kidney beans through a sieve, rinse and also add. Mix the salad with the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper and the salad herbs.
  5. I got to know this dish from my father in Saarland. I took a quick look over the shoulder of his current wife, made a note of the ingredients and cooked them at home. Since then we have had this meal more often. In Saarland, it is common for a salad to be served with a meal.
