Baked Pickled Peppers

Ingredients

  • Bulgarian red pepper
  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic – 2 teeth
  • Acetic essence 70% – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Water – 0.5 l

Directions

  1. Wash the peppers, put them on a baking sheet covered with foil and send them to an oven preheated to 200 ° C, for 40-45 minutes.
  2. Very soon you will smell the burning smell. Calm down! It’s not the neighbors who are burning, it’s yours, and, moreover, this is the way it should be. Open the oven. See? From below, the peel on the peppers not only burned, it generally burned to blackness. But this is exactly what we need. Turn them over and bake further, charring on all sides. Then remove and place in a saucepan, tightly covered with a lid. Leave them for 30-40 minutes to sweat and cool the peppers.
  3. While the peppers “fit”, let’s make the marinade. Boil water with salt and sugar, turn off the heat and pour in the vinegar. Next, peel them off. She will be removed completely without any problems. Remove the stem and seeds. Pulp the peppers, alternating with several cloves of garlic, transfer to pre-prepared jars or any other container if you are not going to store them for a long time. Fill with marinade, close and leave to cool. After cooling, put it in the refrigerator. Such peppers are stored for a long time. And the open ones are in the refrigerator without problems. The problem here is not at all in the shelf life, but in the fact that it is worth opening the can, as they instantly evaporate. Provide yourself with this wonderful delicacy at the first opportunity.
