Baked Potatoes with Sour Cream and Cheese

A delicious and interesting way to cook potatoes. Potato wedges, greased with a mixture of sour cream, ground paprika, thyme, and dill, are baked in the oven. And the ready-made potatoes are sprinkled with grated cheese. Tender, ruddy, spicy potato slices sprinkled with cheese – this is impossible to refuse!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – about 1 kg (6 large)
  • Hard cheese – 50 g
  • Sour cream – 1 tbsp
  • Ground sweet paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Dried ground dill – 1 teaspoon
  • Dried ground thyme – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Wash large potatoes thoroughly and cut into large slices.
  3. Put the potatoes in a bowl, add sour cream, paprika, dill, thyme, and ground pepper to it.
  4. Mix everything thoroughly so that the spices are evenly distributed over the potatoes.
  5. Place the potato slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Send the potatoes to an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until soft (be guided by the characteristics of your oven).
  7. Grate hard cheese on a medium grater.
  8. Put the hot baked potato slices on a dish, salt to taste, and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  9. Baked potatoes with sour cream and cheese are ready!
