Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Spread a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Cut the pumpkin into approx. 3 cm thick slices, core and peel.
  2. Put 2 teaspoons of honey in a plate and spread on the surface with a teaspoon. Then place a slice of pumpkin in the honey on all sides as far as possible so that the pumpkin is very lightly coated with honey.
  3. Place on the baking sheet. Do the same with the other discs. Then drizzle the slices with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Turn the slices after 15 minutes. Serve hot.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
