Instructions

  1. Thoroughly wash the quinces, rub the fluff with a brush or cloth. Halve the fruit and carefully remove the casing.
  2. Caramelize 400 g of sugar in a large saucepan. Add the wine, half a liter of water, the lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves and cook everything for about 20-25 minutes (until the fruits are soft).
  3. Preheat the oven to 250 ° C and grease the tray. Place the quince halves on the tray with the cut surface facing up and pour some of the stock over them. Scatter the rest of the sugar over the top and put the quinces in the oven until they are golden yellow.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
