Instructions

  1. First you cook a rice pudding from milk and sugar (very simply as it is stated on the package). When it becomes creamy, add a piece of butter and eggs and stir in.
  2. Note: About 2 eggs are enough for a serving for 4 men. The rice pudding still has to be creamy. If it gets too firm, you can add a little milk.
  3. Grease a saucepan or casserole dish with butter or margarine so that the rice does not burn. Fill in half of the rice pudding, put a layer of thinly sliced apples on top, then spread the rest of the rice on top. Smooth out and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes.
  5. The lower the filling level, the faster it is baked through. So always check it out. If you want to make a larger amount of it, you`d better take the pot. You can also make several layers of apples in one pot.
  6. The rice pudding is also delicious cold.
  7. Quantities given above are only given approximately. The exact amount is stated on the rice pudding package and can be extrapolated depending on which amount is required.
