  • 4 tomato (s)
  • some sugar
  • some salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon thyme
  • 1 shallot (s)
  • some olive oil
  • possibly parmesan

Instructions

  1. Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and place them in a baking dish with the cut surface facing up. Sprinkle some sugar over it, which enhances the taste of the tomatoes. Let stand for about 10 minutes. Then cover with salt, pepper and the thyme and pour the finely chopped shallots on top (if you like, you can sweat them a little beforehand). Spread the olive oil evenly over the tomatoes. If you like, you can add Parmesan (snippets or ground) at this point, but it doesn`t have to be. Cook the tomatoes in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 15 minutes. The tomatoes go well with meat or simply as an accompaniment to Vespers.
