Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 5 egg (s), separated
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 100 g hazelnuts, round
  • 3 tablespoon rum
  • 3 banana (s)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 250 g flour
  • 50 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 pack cake icing (chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grate the chocolate. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  2. Mix the egg yolks with the butter and sugar until frothy. Stir in chocolate, cinnamon, ground hazelnuts and rum. Peel the bananas, mash them with a fork and stir into the batter with the flour and baking powder. Carefully fold in the egg whites.
  3. Butter a loaf pan, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and pour in the batter. Bake at 180 degrees for 60-70 minutes. Melt the chocolate icing in a water bath, cover the cake with it and decorate with coarsely chopped hazelnuts.
