Banana cake made with vegetable oil turns out to be soft, moist, with a pronounced ripe banana aroma. These are great baked goods that you will surely enjoy!
Ingredients
Bananas (large) – 3 pcs.
Vegetable oil – 100 ml + for lubricating the mold
Eggs – 3 pcs.
Sugar – 120 g
Flour – 220-270 g
Baking powder – 15 g
Salt – 1 pinch
Directions
We prepare the necessary products. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Combine sifted flour, baking powder and salt. We mix.
Peel two bananas, cut them into pieces and put them in a bowl (the weight of two peeled bananas is 250 g).
Add sugar to the bananas.
Mash bananas with sugar with a fork or mashed potato pusher.
Add eggs to the bananas.
Stir with a whisk or mixer at low speed, then add vegetable oil, mix.
Add flour mixture.
Mix everything with a mixer. The dough should be viscous, but not too runny. I needed 270 g of flour (this is a little more than 2 glasses with a capacity of 200 ml).
Grease the form with vegetable oil and pour the dough into it.
Peel the remaining banana and cut it in half lengthwise. Put the banana halves in a mold on the dough. I cut one half of the banana a little to fit.
We bake a banana cake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about an hour. You can check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer – when piercing the cake, it should come out dry. If the top is too browned and the cake isn’t ready yet, cover it with foil and bake until tender.
We take out the banana cake from the oven, let it cool and take it out of the mold.
