Banana – Mango – Jam

Instructions

  1. Peel the mangoes and put them in pieces in a large saucepan. Peel and add the bananas. Pour in the sugar and bring everything to the boil. Let it boil according to the instructions on the preserving sugar pack (usually about 3 minutes). If desired, stir in the cinnamon.
  2. Rinse jars and lids with hot water and place on a clean kitchen towel, do not dry them. Immediately pour the hot jam into the screw jars, keeping the screw rim clean. Immediately close the jars with the lids and briefly turn them upside down.
  3. Tip: Tastes great even without cinnamon.
  4. Can easily be kept in a cold, dark place for several months.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
