Ingredients

  • 500 g banana (s)

  • 100 g marzipan paste
  • some lemon juice, freshly squeezed (a few splashes)

Instructions

  1. It is best to take overripe bananas, as they already have a certain sweetness of their own. Chop the bananas either by hand or with a food processor. The same applies to the marzipan paste.
  2. Stir in the lemon juice and add the preserving sugar to the saucepan. Before turning the stove on, stir the mixture well. Bring to the boil and let it simmer for 3 - 4 minutes. Then pour into the prepared glasses.
  3. I chose 2: 1 as the preserving sugar - if that`s too sweet in combination with the marzipan, you can also use 3: 1, but then the amount of sugar changes (follow the instructions on the package).

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
