- 4 banana (s)
- 2 small onions
- 1 liter chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
- 1 pinch lemongrass powder
- 2 tablespoon sauce thickener, lighter
- 50 g flaked almonds
- 1 cup whipped cream

- Peel and dice the onion, sweat in hot fat until translucent. In the meantime, cut the bananas into slices and add to the onions and let them sweat (keep some banana slices for garnish!). Then pour in the broth and season with all the spices and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes while stirring. Take the soup off the stove, puree it in a saucepan and mix with 2 - 3 tablespoons of the cream. If necessary, add a little salt and pepper to taste. Thicken with the sauce thickener and leave to stand for another 5 minutes on the switched off stove with the pot closed.
- Beat the rest of the cream until stiff.
- Then ladle the soup into warmed plates, put a dollop of whipped cream in the middle and serve sprinkled with the remaining banana slices and the almond flakes.
