Ingredients

  • 200 g butter or mararine
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • 125 g cornstarch
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 packet aroma (Citroback)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 150 g powdered suar
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the pan

Instructions

  1. Put the soft fat in a bowl. Add the Citroback, sugar, eggs, starch, flour and baking powder and mix everything well with a mixer on the highest setting. Total stirring time about 2 minutes. Fill the dough into a greased loaf pan (30 cm long) sprinkled with breadcrumbs and bake in the preheated oven (electric stove approx. 175-200 degrees, 75-90 minutes). The cake is good if you prick it with a wooden stick and nothing gets stuck on it.
  2. For the topping, stir in the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. After baking, leave the cake in the mold, spread the topping over the hot cake, let it cool down and remove it from the mold.
