Ingredients

  • 1 kg flour (spelled flour)
  • 2 points yeast, dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon spice mix for bread
  • 160 g rains, mixed
  • 700 ml water, lukewarm

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients, add water, an can also replace part of the water with butter or sour milk, and knead into a smooth dough with the food processor.
  2. Let rise for about 30 minutes, knead briefly and fill into two loaf tins. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees, then switch back to 175 degrees. The total baking time is approx. 1 hour.
  3. Place a vessel with water in the oven. Halfway through the baking time, brush the bread with the hot water and brush with water again immediately after taking the bread out of the oven.
  4. By adding different flakes, grains, seedlings and oils, the bread always tastes different.
