Basil and Ginger Lemonade

Instructions

  1. Wash the basil and then dry it. Put the twigs aside for decoration, pluck off the remaining leaves. Wash the ginger, set aside 2 thin slices for decoration, peel the remaining ginger and roughly chop.
  2. Put the ginger, cane sugar and basil with 1/4 of the mineral water in a tall container and puree everything finely. Fill 2 glasses with the ice cubes, pour the lemonade mixture through a sieve into the glasses and add the remaining mineral water. Finally, decorate the glass with the ginger slices and the basil sprigs.
  3. Honey or maple syrup can also be used as an alternative to the cane sugar.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
