Instructions

  1. Wash and chop chickweed or chard and then use a 250 ml coffee mug to measure the volume with one and a half cups of almond milk (soy, oat or cow`s milk, depending on your taste) in a blender until you get a green sauce. Then the fruits and the cooked (and peeled) beetroot. The blueberries can be exchanged for other berries such as raspberries. At least one of the fruits should be frozen to keep the smoothie nice and cool. Blend the smoothie until smooth.
  2. Finally, add the 2 tablespoons of nut butter, again depending on your taste, cashew, almond or peanut butter. These are important so that the body can absorb the fat-soluble vitamins. Otherwise stir in half a teaspoon of good oil.
  3. This is not a smoothie for beginners, but a gift for your body and a great free radical catcher with lots of vitamins and minerals.
  4. The smoothie can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days and can of course also be frozen.
