Bean Pate with Walnuts

Do you like beans? Bean pate with walnuts is an excellent dish, and most importantly healthy.

Ingredients

  • Beans (white, dry) – 400 g
  • Walnuts (peeled) – 0.5 cups
  • Butter (soft) – 50 g
  • Bulb onions – 1-2 pcs.
  • Eggs – 1-2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Garlic (optional) – 2 cloves

Directions

  1. To make bean pate with walnuts, first, soak the beans in cold water for 2-3 hours. Drain the water, pour the beans with fresh cold water. Put on fire, bring to a boil. Cook the beans over low heat, covered, until tender (about an hour).
  2. Pour eggs with cold water, salt. Put on fire, bring to a boil, cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Drain boiling water, pour cold water.
  3. Peel the eggs, chop finely or coarsely grate.
  4. Peel the onion, wash, chop finely.
  5. Preheat a frying pan. Pour in vegetable oil. Put the onion in hot oil. Fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
  6. Place chilled beans, eggs, half fried onions, walnuts in a blender bowl. You can add a couple of garlic cloves if desired.
  7. Grind all ingredients until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, add soft butter. Beat.
  8. Put the bean paste with walnuts in a salad bowl. Decorate with fried onions, pour over with oil. Leave in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
