Ingredients

  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • 2 onion (s), finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely diced
  • 500 g potato (s), diced
  • 1 can beans, white (800 g)
  • 1 can tomato (s), chopped
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 stalk / s lovage
  • 1 stalk parsley
  • 100 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 sausages (Debrecziner or Mettwürste), cut into thick slices
  • 30 g butter for fryin

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a large saucepan and fry the onion cubes and bacon in it. Add tomato paste and garlic and roast briefly. Then add tomatoes, beans, broth, parsley, lovage and potatoes. Let everything simmer for about 20-30 minutes, until the potatoes are cooked.
  2. Add the sausages and let them heat up briefly. Then add the cream and season with salt and pepper. Fish out the herb stalks before serving.
  3. Fresh, rustic farmer`s bread goes best with it.
