Instructions

  1. Chop the onions into small cubes. Chop the garlic or use the garlic press.
  2. Cut the bacon and chorizo into coarse or finer pieces, depending on your preference. Dice the fresh tomatoes. Drain the beans properly in a sieve and rinse with water - this prevents the otherwise bitter aftertaste.
  3. Heat some olive oil in a sufficiently large pan and sweat the onions in it.
  4. When the onions are translucent, add the bacon and stir constantly. After about 2 minutes, add the beans and stir occasionally. Mix in the tomato paste. After 2 - 3 minutes add the diced, fresh tomatoes and stir from time to time.
  5. After another 2 minutes add the chopped tomatoes (from the tin) and stir in.
  6. Simmer a little and then add the garlic and chorizo. Let everything simmer for 5 minutes and stir sometimes. Season with the spices at the end. After another 3 - 5 minutes everything is ready.
  7. Use the wooden spoon to eat from the pan.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
