Ingredients
Beef – 500 Grams
Vegetable oil – 3 Teaspoons
Salt, pepper – To taste
Onion – 2 Pieces
Garlic – 4-7 Cloves
Balsamic Vinegar – 2 Teaspoons
Tomato Paste – 2 Teaspoons
Flour – 2 Art. spoons
Dry red wine – 1 Glass
Water – 2 Glasses
Bay leaf – 1-2 pieces
Sugar – 1 Teaspoon
Carrots – 2-3 Pieces
Potatoes – 500 Grams
Greens – To taste
Directions
Wash the meat, pat dry with a napkin and cut into small cubes.
Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of a saucepan or stewpan, put on fire. Put the meat, fry it over medium heat for a few minutes.
Chop the onion and garlic, add them to the beef. Add balsamic vinegar. Continue frying for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add flour, stir. Add tomato paste. Pour in water and red wine. Add bay leaves for flavor.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Leave to simmer for an hour.
Wash and peel the carrots, cut them into large pieces. Young potatoes do not need to be peeled. Arrange the vegetables with the meat. Continue simmering until tender. You can add fresh herbs before serving.
