Ingredients

  • 8 peppers (Ramiro peppers)
  • 80 g sunflower seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 tablespoon yeast flakes
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon oatmeal
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • lemon juice (possibly from approx. 2 lemons)
  • pepper
  • chilli flakes

Instructions

  1. First cut the peppers into large pieces and roast them in a pan. Meanwhile, the sunflower seeds, olive oil, yeast flakes, oat flakes and garlic cloves can be put in a blender. Now mix and chop everything. It doesn`t have to be flour-like, because the spread should still have a bit of bite. When the peppers are ready, add them to the blender and continue to chop everything. Now season to taste with salt, pepper, chilli and lemon juice. The spread should soak in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  2. Note: If you don`t like the paprika skin, do not heat the paprika in the pan, but in the oven until they get the first brown spots or bubbles. Then the skin can be peeled off before further processing.
