Ingredients

  • 4 sausages, (sucuk)
  • 1 large onion (s), halved and sliced
  • 1 red pepper (s), cut into strips
  • 1 green pepper (s), cut into strips
  • 2 sachets rice, (for 4 people)
  • 0.25 liter ¼ water
  • 50 g herb butter, thinly sliced
  • Parmesan, grated for sprinkling
  • Oil, for the pan

Instructions

  1. Boil the rice, keep warm.
  2. Halve the sucuk and cut into thin slices. Fry some oil in the pan and fry the sucuk slices. Add the onion strips and the pepper strips. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Then add 1/4 l water and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add the cooked rice and mix well. Add the herb butter slices and mix well until melted. Let it steep for 5 minutes, stir again.
  3. Pour onto a plate and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.
  4. Danger!! Depending on the sucuk, it can be a spicy and garlic-like thing. Try first, then season to taste if necessary.
