Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers, chopped (not green)
  • 1 gr. can tomato (s) (850 ml), peeled, chopped up
  • 2 onion (s), diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), red, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet and hot pink
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 240 g noodles (soup noodles)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in the pan. Then sauté the onions, garlic and chilli pepper in it. Then add the pepper pieces and fry the whole thing for about 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the soup noodles in a separate saucepan until they are almost firm to the bite.
  3. Add the tomato pieces with the juice to the pepper pieces, season with salt and pepper and add the sugar. Let the whole simmer for about 15 minutes on a low flame, until the pepper pieces are cooked through. Then either puree the soup with the hand blender or strain it through a sieve. Season to taste with paprika powder. Add the pasta at the end and serve.
  4. Tip: If you like it a little spicier, you can also add Piri Piri. For the milder version, add a little crème fraiche.
