Ingredients

  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 50 ml cream
  • 150 ml milk
  • 50 g cheese, rated
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme, dried or fresh
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Season a little with salt and pepper. Mix the cream and milk and season too.
  2. If fresh thyme is used, pluck the leaves off and add to the milk mixture. Simply grind the dried thyme in a mortar.
  3. Put the potatoes in a greased casserole dish and pour the liquid over them. Sprinkle with grated cheese and put in the oven.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at approx. 200 ° C for about 40 - 45 minutes. Serve immediately.
  5. Tastes great with pan-fried food and really great with lamb.
