Ingredients

  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 4 onion (s)
  • 1 can tomato (s)
  • 1 bell pepper (s)
  • 1 cup cream or condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon margarine

Instructions

  1. Dice the onions and fry them in margarine until translucent. Cut the bell pepper into fine strips. Then put all the ingredients in the pot, mix, bring to the boil and simmer for 3 hours over the lowest heat.
  2. It tastes best if you let it steep overnight and only eat it the next day.
  3. If you like, you can add (pre-cooked) potatoes, or fry some meat (in strips or cubes) with the onions.
  4. Super tasty, simple, lots and cheap!
