Ingredients

  • Flour – 1 glass
  • Sugar – 1 glass
  • Chicken egg – 6 pcs.

For filling:

  • Lemons – 2 pcs.
  • Sugar – 200 g
  • Starch – 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla – to taste

For sprinkling:

  • Powdered sugar – to taste

Instructions

  1. These are the ingredients you need to make a biscuit roll.
  2. Turn on and preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  3. Break eggs into a bowl and add sugar.
  4. Add flour. Whisk everything together thoroughly.
  5. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Lubricate with vegetable oil. Pour the dough onto parchment paper and spread it over the baking sheet.
  6. Bake in a hot oven on the middle shelf until golden brown for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, make the filling. To do this, scald the lemon, cut it, remove the seeds, mince it along with the zest. Add sugar, vanilla, and starch to the lemon. Mix well.
  8. Remove the hot sponge sheet from the paper, spread with the filling, and roll into a roll. Wrap the biscuit roll tightly in a tea towel and leave to cool.
  9. Sprinkle the finished biscuit roll with powder if desired. Cut and serve.
