Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef goulash
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 bunch leeks
  • 2 bell pepper (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 0.5 liter ½ black beer
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 250 ml meat broth
  • 1 cup cream, 200 ml
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ thyme
  • food starch
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Sear the goulash and mushrooms in the Dutch oven. Fry the tomato paste briefly and deglaze the roast with the black beer. Add the remaining ingredients and equip the Dutch Oven with 6 coals on the bottom / 12 coals on top.
  2. Stir every now and then. After a good 2 hours, the goulash is ready and only needs to be seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika powder as desired. Thicken the sauce with cornstarch until it has the desired consistency.
