Ingredients

  • 750 g potato (s)
  • 2 liters water
  • 500 g apples
  • 2 onions)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoon oil (rapeseed oil)
  • 500 g black puddin, smoked
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 100 ml cream
  • marjoram
  • 50 g cheese (Emmentaler)
  • in Butter, flakes
  • 100 ml sour cream
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes for about 25 minutes until they are soft, drain, peel and let cool. Then press through the potato press. In the meantime, peel the apples, quarter them and cut them into slices. Peel the onions and garlic and cut into fine cubes. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the onions, garlic and apples briefly. Cut the black pudding into slices and set aside. Put the mashed potatoes in a bowl, mix with salt, pepper, cream and marjoram and season to taste. Pour the mashed potatoes, black pudding, sour cream and apple pieces in layers into a greased casserole dish. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it on the casserole. Spread the flakes of butter on top and bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees. Serve the casserole sprinkled with the parsley.
