Ingredients

  • 145 grams sugar
  • 25 g flour
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 600 g blackberries, fresh
  • 1 ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 10 g butter, cold
  • 55 g butter, soft
  • 1 ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 150 grams flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 60 ml milk
  • 1 large egg (s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease an 18 × 26 cm baking dish with butter.
  2. Mix the sugar, flour and salt in a bowl and add the blackberries. Mix this carefully, sprinkle the lemon juice over it and pour everything into the baking dish. Put the butter in small flakes on top and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  3. Shortly before the end of these 20 minutes, prepare the biscuits:
  4. Mix the butter with the sugar and salt until creamy. Mix the flour with the baking powder, whisk the egg with the milk and stir in both alternately.
  5. Take the casserole out of the oven and stir gently once. Now place the dough on the berries in four portions with a tablespoon. These can be elongated or round piles. Then return to the oven and finish baking for another 20-25 minutes. The biscuits should be light brown in color. Take out and let cool down a bit.
  6. Then serve in four portions, each with a biscuit and berries, on a dessert plate. If you like, sprinkle the biscuits with a little powdered sugar.
