Ingredients

  • 500 ml blackberry juice
  • 500 ml water
  • 850 g suar
  • 20 g citric acid

Instructions

  1. First of all: 1 kg of blackberries produces a good 500 ml of juice when juicing.
  2. Bring the juice and water to the boil with the sugar until it bubbles. From then on, cook for 3 minutes and add the citric acid. As soon as the 3 minutes are up, pour the syrup into bottles that have been rinsed with hot water and close the bottles.
  3. Working hours may vary depending on the amount. If the berries have to be juiced first, it will take longer.
  4. Mixed with mineral water to taste, it is a refreshing summer drink.
