  • 80 g flour
  • 80 g cornstarch
Blitz – Bisque
Blitz – Bisque

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then add the sugar and beat until the sugar has dissolved. Fold in the egg yolks, then sieve the flour mixed with starch over it and fold in with the whisk. Spread in the baking pan and bake at 200 ° C for about 20-25 minutes.
  2. The recipe is enough for a cake or, baked on the tray, for a sponge roll. Half of the recipe is enough for a fruit cake, which is left in the mold to cool down after baking and topped. After the icing has cooled down, you can remove the cake from the mold and decorate it. Instead of the cornstarch you can also use a packet of custard powder (vanilla or chocolate), but then with 100 g of flour instead of 80 g. Part of the flour can also be replaced with 50 g of ground almonds or hazelnuts.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
