Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Bring the beef in one piece with the cold meat stock to the boil, with the lid closed and over low heat for approx. 1 hour. to let go.
  2. Then add the pearl barley and bring to the boil and simmer gently for another hour over low heat with the lid closed. Clean and dice all vegetables and the potatoes, add to the soup and finish cooking.
  3. Strong farmhouse bread goes well with it.
