  • 280 g basmati
  • 450 ml boiling water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Place the grille on the bottom rail.
  2. Sweat the rice briefly in olive oil in a saucepan, then add the boiling water, add salt and bay leaf, put the lid on and immediately put it in the hot oven. The rice is ready after exactly 16 minutes.
  3. I know there are enough rice cooking methods out there, but this is the best!
