- 280 g basmati
- 450 ml boiling water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon olive oil

- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Place the grille on the bottom rail.
- Sweat the rice briefly in olive oil in a saucepan, then add the boiling water, add salt and bay leaf, put the lid on and immediately put it in the hot oven. The rice is ready after exactly 16 minutes.
- I know there are enough rice cooking methods out there, but this is the best!
