- 1 kg pork ribs, fresh
- 1 large carrot
- 1 large onion (s)
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1 pack mashed potatoes for 3 servings
- milk
- 4 tablespoon butter
- salt and pepper
- water

- Clean and quarter the onion, clean and halve the carrot. Put both together with the ribs in a large saucepan with approx. 2 - 3 liters of cold water with a little pepper and salt, bring to the boil and then simmer for at least 2 hours.
- Then pour over a sieve and collect the broth. Remove the meat from the bones and cut into small cubes. Also cut the cooked carrot into small cubes. Put the meat and the carrot in the hot broth, season well with pepper and salt and add the chopped parsley.
- Now make a mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the package with the required amount of milk and water (of course you can do it yourself, but I don`t think it doesn`t affect the taste of using a finished one and of course the finished one is also much faster) and stir in the butter.
- Now put half a portion of mashed potatoes and a large ladle of the broth on each plate and serve. At the table, the mashed potatoes mix is stirred with a spoon and enjoyed.
- It sounds very unusual, but it tastes great just give it a try.
