Ingredients

  • 500 g morello cherries
  • 3 tablespoon liqueur (cherry)
  • 3 tablespoon almond sticks
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 90 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 30 g butter, soft
  • 60 g flour
  • 100 ml milk

Instructions

  1. Drain the morello cherries and distribute them in a buttered casserole dish. Drizzle evenly with the cherry liqueur and sprinkle with the almond slivers.
  2. Separate the eggs, beat the egg whites with the salt and put them in the fridge. Beat the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy, gradually fold in the butter. Sift the flour over it and fold in, gradually stirring in the milk. Fold in the egg whites and distribute the mixture over the cherries.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 40-45 minutes until golden.
