Instructions

  1. Put the quark with sugar, eggs, pudding powder and baking powder in a mixing bowl and mix everything with the mixer to a creamy mass.
  2. Grease a springform pan (the quickest way is with Rama Culinesse and a leaf from the kitchen roll) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs (thick!). Pour the quark mixture into the prepared form (26 cm or 28 cm), spread the mandarins on top and bake the cake in the preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 1 hour. I do it with circulating air, but it also works with top / bottom heat.
  3. Switch off the oven and let the cake cool down in the oven, this is important!

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
