  • 350 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 150 ml milk
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • Flour for the work surface
  • possibly chives
  • possibly garlic
  • possibly fried onions
  • possibly marjoram

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (convection). Finely grate the raw potatoes. Squeeze the grated, raw potatoes in a cloth. Mash the boiled potatoes. Mix with the grated potatoes. Add the milk and stir everything together. Season with salt and pepper. Add flour and baking powder. Knead the whole thing into a dough. If it is too soft, add a little more flour. Divide the dough into 2 portions and shape into flat breads on a floured surface. If you want to make it Irish in style, you can cut a cross in each bread. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes until they are light brown and risen. Serve with butter or warm butter. To change the taste of the bread, chives, a pressed clove of garlic, fried onions or dried marjoram can be added to the dough.
