Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 40 g yeast (yeast)
  • 80 g powdered suar (powdered suar)
  • 80 g butter, or mararine
  • 2 dl milk
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • some lemon peel
  • Plum Jam (Powidl)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk, add 50 g flour, stir until smooth, dust with flour, cover and let rise in a warm place (steam). Melt the butter. Process all ingredients with the food processor or with the wooden spoon into a smooth dough until the dough separates from the edge. Cover and leave the dough to rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Divide into three parts, roll them out, brush with Powidl and roll up again. Braid the resulting strands into a braid and let them go again. Brush with butter and bake at 175 ° C until the braid turns a nice brown color.
