Braised Chicken in a Saucepan

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1 Piece
  • Sour cream – 400 Grams
  • Onions – 1 Piece
  • Carrots – 1 Piece
  • Water – 1 Glass
  • Salt – To taste
  • Pepper – To taste
  • Vegetable oil – To taste

Directions

  1. Wash the chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Cut into pieces (size – at your discretion), salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Fry the chopped and dried chicken over high heat until golden brown. You do not need to cover the pan, otherwise the chicken will let out the juice and the crust will not work.
  3. Chop the onion at random (just not very finely), grate the carrots. Fry them with vegetable oil until golden brown (in a pan).As soon as the vegetables are browned, pour the sour cream previously mixed with water over them. Stir and heat until the mixture boils. Salt the chicken to taste and pour over the resulting sour cream mixture.
  4. Simmer covered over low heat for 50 minutes. The chicken stew is ready.
