Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar (teacup)
  • 2 glasses water
  • 2 lemon (s), with peel in slices
  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 300 g iner, fresh, washed and sliced
  • 1 liter cachaça or other schnapps (vodka, Steinhäger, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Let the sugar caramelize in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Then add the water and ginger and let everything boil so that the ingredients mix well. Then add the lemons, cinnamon sticks and schnapps and let simmer for a few more minutes.
  2. Strain and serve hot in cups or glasses.
