Bread Stuffed with Mushrooms and Cheese (in the Oven)

Having tasted this bread with cheese and mushrooms, you will absolutely love it. Crispy crust of bread, alluring aroma, and just the perfect filling of mushrooms and cheese … Be prepared to eat a slice and stop, you probably will not succeed!

Ingredients

  • Champignons – 300 g
  • Hard cheese – 300 g
  • Bread – 450 g
  • Butter – 120 g
  • Dried thyme – 1 tbsp
  • Green onion – 4-5 branches
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. My mushrooms, chop arbitrarily (not finely).
  2. Fry the mushrooms in a dry non-stick frying pan until all the liquid evaporates. In the process, salt the mushrooms.
  3. Cut the cheese into cubes.
  4. Chop the green onion finely.
  5. We turn on the oven and heat it up to 180 degrees. We cut a loaf of bread in the form of a lattice, without cutting a couple of centimeters to the end.
  6. Cut the butter into pieces.
  7. Put chopped green onions and thyme into the cuts of the bread.
  8. Then put the fried mushrooms there, evenly distributing.
  9. And the last we put in the cuts of the bread are pieces of butter and cheese.
  10. We wrap the bread stuffed with fried mushrooms, cheese, and green onions in foil and put it in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  11. After this time, remove the foil and leave the bread in the oven for another 15 minutes.
