  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 10 slices salami
  • 1 tablespoon lard
  • 1 slice / s cheese (Appenzeller)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Peel the onion, cut in half lengthways and cut into semicircular rings. Heat the lard in the frying pan, sauté the onions briefly, spread the salami over the top, cut the cheese into small pieces over the salami and beat the fried eggs. Simmer slowly until the eggs are white and the yolks start to bubble. Season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika and a little sprinkling of seasoning. Serve on warm plates. It goes well with black bread and fresh coffee beans.
