Ingredients

  • 4 cans beans, thick white
  • 1 tube tomato paste
  • 4 shallot (s)
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Herbs, Italian
  • sugar
  • salt
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock, grained
  • 6 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Chop the shallots and garlic, drain the beans.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and fry the shallots in it until translucent. Add the beans and garlic. Fill an empty bean can with water, pour the water over the beans and heat everything. Stir in the tomato paste. Season to taste with salt, vegetable stock, sugar, herbs and paprika. Then let it cool down.
  3. Tastes great with grilled food, but also simply with baguette and red wine. Enjoy lukewarm or cold.
