Ingredients

  • 250 g tofu
  • 400 g broccoli
  • 1 hot pepper
  • 100 g cashew nuts
  • 6 tablespoon oil, (neutral cooking oil)
  • 6 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain the tofu and cut into approx. 1 cm cubes. Mix the soy sauce, lemon juice and 1 tablespoon oil. Peel the garlic, finely dice and add. Turn the tofu in the marinade and let it steep for 30 minutes.
  2. Clean the broccoli, separate the small florets from the stems. Peel the thick stems and cut into small cubes. Halve and core the peppers and cut into fine strips.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or in a large pan. Drain the tofu well, add and fry until golden brown. Remove and keep warm between two plates. Put cashew nuts in the wok and fry for two minutes without adding any oil, add to the tofu. Heat the remaining oil. Fry broccoli in it for 5 minutes while stirring. Add hot peppers and fry for 1 minute. Add marinade, stir once and season to taste. Turn off the stove, fold in the tofu and cashew nuts. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
