Ingredients

  • 250 g almond (s), round
  • 250 g powdered suar
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch clove (s), ground
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoon kirsch
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 egg (s), including the egg whites
  • 50 g suar, for sprinklin
  • 100 g chocolate, bitter, melted

Instructions

  1. Put the almonds in a bowl, sieve the powdered sugar and cocoa, mix with the remaining ingredients, work in the liquid chocolate. Beat the egg white until stiff and gradually pull it into the almond mixture so that it becomes a firm dough. Wrap it in foil and put it in a cool place for an hour.
  2. Roll out a good 1 cm thick on a sugared surface, cut out figures. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let dry for at least 4 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 250 °. Bake the cookies for about 6 minutes. Brush with water while it is still hot and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  4. Tip: you can leave out the sugar or glaze the Brunsli.
