Bruschetta with Burrata Cheese and Strawberries

Crispy toasted baguette slices topped with tender burrata cheese and served with cherry tomato topping mixed with chopped fresh strawberries in a dressing of honey, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. The combination of flavors is fantastic. Chopped fresh basil is a nice addition. The perfect Italian-style snack to brighten up any of your home or bachelorette parties.

Ingredients

  • 15 baguette slices, 0.5 cm thick.
  • 4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon clover honey
  • 0.5 tablespoon. cherry tomatoes cut into 4 pieces
  • 3/4 Art. chopped strawberries
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1 scoop (200g) burrata cheese, chilled

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Brush the baguette slices on both sides with 2 tbsp olive oil. Place the slices on a rimmed baking sheet and sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon. salt. Bake for 10 minutes, turning the baking sheet upside down in the middle of the bake.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the vinegar, honey, 0.5 teaspoon. salt and the remaining 2 tbsp olive oil; beat until a homogeneous emulsion is obtained. Add cherry tomatoes, strawberries, and basil to the dressing; stir well to coat. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes for all the flavors to befriend.
  4. Drain the brine from the burrata and dry the cheese thoroughly. Tear it into small pieces with a fork. Place some burrata on top of each toast for a creamy center everywhere. Top with a little tomato-strawberry mixture and drizzle with a little dressing.
